What a joke. Many companies claim to be an equal opportunity employer but let me assure you, they are not. Of course they cant admit this without legal ramifications. Example; I am a highly experinced sous chef, with an impeccable resume' (I reside in springfield Mo), (a town thats 95percent white), I shopped my resume' all over town, to no avail..I've been called a few times for interviews that over the phone they were happy to grant, but upon seeing this black man walk in, that changed quickly. All of a sudden, the positions been filled or I am over qualified. I am no conspircy theorist but I see what I see. I have lived in many states across this country and I have never been so aware of  racism as I am here in SE MO.
